Description
Short Song Description:
Three part female vocal harmonies, three part fiddle work.
Story Behind the Song:
A Nashville publisher told me about a Texas trio, The Quebe Sisters. My co-writer and I looked them up on the Internet and thought we'd write a song for them...the goal being to get them to use it as a theme song. So far, it hasn't worked. This recording was done with the marvelously talented DeMetri Moon on all vocals and fiddle parts.

THREE SISTERS

CHORUS
Three sisters,
We don't fiddle around,
Much.
When we rosin up the bows,
We get that Texas touch,
Sho' nuff.

I'm the oldest of the three,
The other two are stuck with me,
When we were kids we never lacked,
We always watched each others' back,

I'm the one who's in between,
The middle of this fiddle team,
What my big sister gave to me,
I handed down to number three.

Since I'm the baby,
Of this trio,
The other two were sweet enough to let me start the solo.

(solo)

REPEAT CHORUS

BRIDGE
Me, I love this fiddle, it's like a part of me.
I can sing that Texas swing in almost any key.
I love it when we do it all in three-part harmony.

FINAL CHORUS
Three sisters,
We sing and fiddle around a lot.
When we rosin up the bows,
We turn the music up to hot.
Sho' nuff.
